
The US Secretary of State John Kerry is scheduled to meet Gulf foreign ministers in Manama, General Secretary of Gulf Cooperation Council Abdul Lateef Al Zayani informed.
Al Zayani said that, the meeting is scheduled to be held in preparation for the Gulf-US summit on April 21 in Riyadh, Xinhua.
On the other side, the White House announced in March, that Barack Obama, the president of the United States will visit Saudi Arabia in April. The visit was scheduled to meet Arab leaders and repair relations strained by last year’s nuclear deal with Iran.

According to Al Zayani, the meeting is expected to discuss the outcome of the working groups formed in collaboration with the Camp David summit, that was concluded during May, last year. The meeting will also address regional conflicts in Yemen, Syria, Libya, Iraq and topics of shared interest.
