The Redmi A7 Pro 4G and the Redmi A7 4G were officially launched in India on Tuesday. These smartphones are the newest members of the brand's budget phone range in the country, released just a week after the Redmi A7 Pro 5G. Both devices run on the Unisoc T7250 chipset and include 64GB of internal storage. They feature a 13-megapixel camera on the back. The price for the Redmi A7 Pro 4G in India is set at Rs. 11,499 for the single version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It comes in Black and Sky Sunset Orange colors. On the other hand, the Redmi A7 4G is priced at Rs. 10,499 for the variant with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage. It’s available in Black and Sky Blue colors. Both models will be available for purchase starting April 23 through Mi.com, Amazon India, Flipkart, and Xiaomi stores across the country. The Redmi A7 Pro 4G features a 6.9-inch (720 x 1,600 pixels) LCD display, and the regular version has a 6.88-inch (720 x 1,640) LCD screen. Both offers a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of up to 800 nits, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 8-bit color depth. The displays have a centered hole-punch for the selfie camera.

Inside, the A7 Pro 4G and A7 4G are driven by the Unisoc T7250 SoC. The Pro version has 4GB of RAM, while the A7 4G comes with 3GB of RAM. Both handsets include 64GB of internal storage and have a dedicated MicroSD slot that allows expanding storage by up to 2TB. The Redmi A7 Pro 4G runs on Android 16-based HyperOS 3 and is promised four years of Android updates along with six years of security updates. In contrast, the standard model operates on Android 15-based HyperOS 2, with a guarantee of two years of OS updates and three years of security updates. Regarding cameras, both the Redmi A7 Pro 4G and A7 4G come with a 13-megapixel rear camera along with an LED flash. They also include an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. For connectivity, both phones support Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, Glonass, Galileo, and have a USB Type-C port. They have an IP52 rating, providing dust and splash resistance. The Redmi A7 Pro 4G is sized at 171.56 x 79.47 x 8.15mm and weighs 208g. It features a 6,300mAh battery. Meanwhile, the A7 4G is sized at 171.79 x 79.77 x 8.26mm and weighs about 193g. Both devices are compatible with 15W wired charging and 7.5W reverse wired charging.
