Jill Biden has incessantly stood by her husband Joe Biden through all the Presidential bids in 1988, 2008, and 2020.

Jill Biden is the wife of Democratic Presidential candidate former vice President Joe Biden.

Before she was noticed by the National spotlight when her husband became the vice President of the US in 2008, Dr. Jill Biden has kept her profile relatively low in her home state of Delaware.

It was only after Jill Biden has stepped into the elite areas of the White House that the world was forced to take note of the 69 year old college professor who has been the most trusted political advisor for nearly five decades.

On the night of the virtual Democratic National Convention in August, Joe Biden joined his wife as she stood in the middle of the public school in Wilmington where she had once taught dozens of students nearly 30 years ago.

With only few weeks for the presidential election and almost every other poll indicating the victory for Joe Biden, Jill Biden this time is set to become the potential first lady of the US.

The early life of Jill Biden

Jill Biden was born in New Jersey and spent most of her childhood in Pennsylvania with her four younger sisters and parents.

Jill Biden's father Donald worked as a teller at a bank while her mother Bonny was a homemaker.

After graduating from High school, she pursued her degree in fashion merchandising and did her majors in English at the University of Delaware.

She attended the college with her first husband whom she divorced later in 1975.

On the second night of the four day convention of DNC she took to the stage to not only speak about the virtues of her husband but also shared her own personal love story with Joe Biden.

In 1972, Joe Biden had lost his first wife Neilia and daughter Naomi in a ghastly road accident.

Three years later, he met Jill on a blind date. Joe mentioned many times that Jill gave back his life to him.

The couple got married in 1977 and welcomed their first child in 1980.

Despite all the ups and downs in Joe Biden's life, Jill stood behind him like a rock and never gave up the hope.

Jill Biden is the only second lady in the history to hold a full time job outside the White House while her husband was serving as a Vice President.

She has two master degrees, one in reading and the other in English and this she earned while working and raising a family with Joe Biden.
