The UAE seems to be lucky for Indian expats, as in a spree of lottery winners again an Indian nationalist, Venugopal Passam has won a life changing lottery of 1 million USD. His ticket no. 2643 in the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire draw in Series 240 was drawn on  Concourse B in Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport.

Passam said that the lottery ticket was randomly purchased by his son. The 31-year-old insurance broker living in Sharjah, could not believe his luck when the ticket chose by his son Kavish on the on the eve of his second birthday made him a millionaire.

“This is my first time to participate in the Dubai Duty Free promotions and I am delighted to win it big! This is such an incredible promotion that will surely change not only my life, but also the future of my family.”
