Two people were injured after a large fire broke out in diesel tanks in the Al Sajaa Industrial area in Sharjah on Friday afternoon.
The director of Sharjah Civil Defense, Major Saeed Al Suwaidi, said that, the injured have been admitted to the hospital for the treatment. The blaze was extinguished by about 8.30pm.
According to Al Suwaidi, the fuel tanks belong to a company located in the Al Saja industrial area. Police will launch a probe to find out the reason behind the blaze.
The fire was controlled by the efforts of Firefighters. They have begun a cooling operation late on Friday night.
